Ivan Bolanos is a Peruvian author of fantasy, science fiction, and children's literature whose stories have captivated readers for more than twenty years. His books have been published in print by leading Peruvian publishers, including Santillana, SM, and Bruno. Alongside his work as a novelist, he has collaborated as an author, editor, and translator with Worldreader, international nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to digital reading around the world.
Beyond writing novels, Ivan enjoys creating imaginative worlds across a variety of formats. Together with acclaimed illustrator Antonio Pomar, he is the co-founder of Tony & Vanchi, a creative studio that develops illustrated works, coloring books, comics, card games, role-playing games, and original storytelling experiences for readers of all ages.
A passionate advocate for the art of storytelling, Ivan also has taught storytelling, screenwriting, and creative writing at several Peruvian universities, helping new generations of writers and creators develop their own voices.
