Iván Bolaños Gamero
I finished high school at the German school A. Weberbauer and completed a career in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad de Lima. As a teenager, I wrote adventure stories motivated by the family environment: distribution and exhibition of films.
I worked for several years in various related areas of Industrial Engineering: strategic planning, logistics, and administration and marketing, both in transnational companies, as well as in local ventures in the entertainment sector.
In addition to my writing career, I work as an editor, translator, and educational consultant. I teach storytelling, narrative and script at the Toulouse Lautrec Higher Education School, creative writing at the Student Welfare and Training Directorate of Universidad del Pacifico and Children's Literature at the Faculty of Education of San Ignacio de Loyola University.
I hold a Master’s degree in University Teaching and Educational Management at the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú.
In the past 15 years, I’ve published adventure, fantasy, and science fiction books in Perú through prestigious publishers: Ediciones SM (Santa Maria), Bruño, and Santillana.
